Three Springs 2nd place in Get to the Core Competition

Get2thecore was an online image segmentation data science problem hosted by unearthed solutions and sponsored by Newcrest Mining.

After placing second in the Unearthed Get 2 the Core Competition, we commercialised our solution and sold it to a client. The solution segments individual cores from images of core trays. Three Springs developed a python software library that can train new models off new data and be used in inference mode as part of an application.
